We are open for golf 7 days a week. We have golf leagues during the summer months Monday - Thursday evenings from 4:00 - 6:00 but always reserve a few open tee times in the evenings after leagues.

We keep you riding in style with our new fleet of Yamaha Drive 2 golf carts.

The Drive 2 features a hybrid gas/electric engine that combines the best of both worlds. The electronic fuel-injected engine produces the lowest emissions outputs of any gas cart.

Where is your course located?

Alpine Golf Club is located on Alpine Avenue just north of Grand Rapids, Michigan. If you're coming from downtown, hop on US 131 North, take exit 89 for I-96/M-37 toward Muskegon/Lansing. Keep left and follow the signs for M-37 N/ Alpine Avenue/Newaygo. Cruise up Alpine Avenue and we’re located on the right side in between 7 and 8 mile, just after the Citgo and Wendy's.

Are you a public golf course?

Yes, Alpine Golf Club is an 18 hole public golf course just north of downtown Grand Rapids. We offer open tee times 7 days a week. Give the golf shop a call with any questions!

Do I need a tee time?

We allow walk on play however we always recommend calling the golf shop ahead of time to make sure we have open tee times.

Do you have a driving range?

We do not. If you're short on time or looking to just hit a few, we offer a 3 hole option Monday - Thursday before 2:00 pm. No tee time required, just call the golf shop to make sure we have openings. 3 holes with cart for $9. We also have two practice greens if you're looking to work on your short game!

Do you prefer White Claw or High Noon?

Good question. We couldn't decide so we always keep both fully stocked.

Can I bring my own cooler?

As long as the cooler does not have any outside alcoholic beverages, YES! We'll even fill it with ice for you!

Can I bring my own beverages?

Since we do have a liquor license, we require players to adhere to the state law of no outside alcoholic beverages. If a player is caught with an outside alcoholic beverage of any kind, the product will be confiscated, if caught a second time, the player will be asked to leave the property. We appreciate your compliance with the state of Michigan law.

Do you offer golf lessons?

Yes!

James Buhler is our instructor on staff. He is a graduate of the Ferris State University Golf Program, and has spent years independently studying the golf swing from many different sources. Besides a vast knowledge of technique, James specializes in the science of how people learn, and how the brain and body learns new movement patterns so that you can make real improvements to your current playing ability. Full swing, short game, and playing lessons are available. Please call the pro shop for more details.

Are collared shirts required?

We have a modern approach to the game of golf, collared shirts are not required. Jeans are acceptable as well.

Do you have a full bar?

Yes! We have a full bar with a wide selection of drink options. We can make drinks to take out on the course with you!

Do you have food options?

Yes! We have hot dogs, polish dogs, deli sandwiches as well as all sorts of snack items.

Do you have golf leagues?

Yes, we have leagues Monday - Thursday from roughly 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm. We always have tee times available after league play.

Do you have rental clubs?

Yes! We have 2 sets of new Tour Edge clubs that come with 3 balls and tees. This option is $10 for 9 holes and $20 for 18 holes. A valid photo ID is required when checking out the equipment.
